The Dallas Titans delivered a commanding offensive performance on Sunday, overwhelming the Yankees 19–1 at Lively Park behind a massive day from Steely Gill and a 17-hit team attack.
Dallas struck immediately in the first inning when Gill doubled in two runs and Stephen Patterson added an RBI sacrifice fly. The offense kept rolling in the second inning with a seven-run outburst highlighted by RBI hits from Greg Kolesar, Jacob Calderon, Korey Gillespie, Gill (two-run double), and Patterson. The Titans capped their scoring with five more runs in the third, as Colton Connolly delivered a two-run single, Tim Nelson added a two-run triple, and Cruz Chavarria contributed a sacrifice fly.
Gill led the way, finishing with three hits and four RBIs, while Patterson also recorded a multi-hit day and contributed offensively throughout the lineup’s depth.
On the mound, Patterson earned the win after allowing one run over four innings, and Gill added a scoreless inning of relief with a strikeout. The Yankees struggled to contain the Titans’ offense, as Jeris Medina was tagged for 16 earned runs over five innings.
Dallas finished with 17 hits, played clean defense, and controlled the game from start to finish in one of their most dominant wins of the season.
