In Game 1, Dallas built an early lead with three first-inning runs, taking advantage of patient at-bats as Brenden Monroe and Stephen Patterson each drew bases-loaded walks before Steven Baker added an RBI groundout. The Titans extended their lead before the Aliens mounted a late rally, but Steely Gill closed the door to earn the save and preserve the 5-4 victory.
Stephen Alexander earned the win with five outstanding innings, allowing just one unearned run on five hits while striking out seven. Jacob Calderon led the offense with two hits from the leadoff spot, while Patterson drove in two runs. The Titans also worked six walks to keep constant pressure on the Aliens' pitching staff.
The nightcap belonged to the Titans from the opening inning. Gill delivered a two-run double and Patterson followed with an RBI double as Dallas raced to a 4-0 lead in the first. Patterson added another RBI in the third before the Titans put the game away in the sixth, highlighted by Aaron Standley's three-run home run and an RBI single from Korey Gillespie.
Matt Nelson set the tone on the mound with two hitless innings and six strikeouts before Patterson took over to earn the victory, allowing three unearned runs over five innings. Gill paced the offense with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, while Patterson, Gillespie, and Cruz Chavarria each added multiple hits. Standley drove in a game-high three runs as Dallas finished with 14 hits.
