The Dallas Titans rallied late to defeat the Yankees 7-6 on Sunday, overcoming a 6-5 deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning when Steely Gill delivered a clutch two-run single to give the Titans the lead.

The Yankees jumped out to an early advantage, scoring in the first inning behind RBI plays from Jeris Medina, Brian, and Jacob Riley before extending their lead to 5-2 in the second inning on a Medina RBI single. The Titans responded with a decisive sixth-inning comeback, as Korey Gillespie tied the game with an RBI double before Gill’s two-run single put Dallas ahead for good.

Stephen Patterson earned the win for the Titans, allowing six runs (five earned) on 10 hits over six innings while striking out three and walking four. Ryan Ward took the loss for the Yankees after surrendering seven runs (six earned) on six hits over six innings. Gill secured the save, with Britton Stofko adding a scoreless relief appearance.

Gill and Colton Connolly each drove in two runs for Dallas, while Gillespie, Jacob Calderon, Greg Kolesar, and Steven Baker each contributed a hit. The Titans showed strong discipline at the plate with six walks, created pressure on the bases with five stolen bases, turned two double plays, and played error-free defense. Connolly led the team with seven defensive chances.

The Yankees collected 10 hits, led by Medina’s three RBIs and two-hit performance. Sean Gaha and Jacob Colerick also recorded two hits, while the Yankees drew six walks but could not hold their early lead as the Titans completed the late comeback.
