The Dallas Titans earned a 9-6 win over the Irish on Sunday at Lively Park, responding quickly to an early deficit and steadily pulling away with timely hitting and productive outs throughout the lineup.

The Irish struck first in the opening inning, scoring twice on a fielder’s choice by Andrew Mara and an RBI single from Mark Salazar. Dallas immediately answered in the bottom half of the frame, tying the game on a pair of sacrifice flies, including one from Jeff Hanley. The Titans continued to chip away in the second inning, taking the lead for good on Eric Bruner’s sacrifice fly to make it 3-2.

Dallas added two more runs in the third inning, again benefiting from situational hitting, including a run-producing groundout from Hanley, as the offense continued to build separation.

Stephen Patterson earned the win after allowing three runs over six innings while striking out three. Greg Kolesar closed out the game to secure the save.

Offensively, the Titans finished with nine hits and were paced by Hanley, who drove in a team-high three runs. Will Phyfer and Korey Gillespie each collected two hits, helping keep the lineup moving throughout the game.

The Irish totaled four hits but stayed competitive thanks to multiple run producers across the lineup, including Carson Tonini, who went 2-for-3, and RBI contributions from six different hitters. However, they were unable to overcome Dallas’ consistent scoring pressure after the early innings.

The Titans closed the game with steady pitching, timely execution, and a balanced offensive effort to secure the 9-6 victory.
